Day 01: Arrival at Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Tenzing Norgay Bus Terminus (Junction) and Transfer to Melli -
Guest will be received by our official at Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) / Tenzing Norgay Bus Terminus (Junction) - He will assist you for the forwarding journey to Melli - Nearly 65 Kilometers, 1.5 - 2.5 hours drive - A perfect destination for tourist in search of enchantment, tranquility, trekking or any other adventure - The town lies at an elevation of about 100 metres (330 ft) is famous for white river rafting and beautiful street with magical fountain, Yuksom Breweries produces most of the beer in the region. The brewery and a biscuit factory are the major industries in the region. In the evening one is free to stroll around Melli Baar / Local Market - Over night stay at Melli.
Day 02: Gangtok Local sightseeing -
Early morning breakfast and start the day for sightseeing - 2 hours drive from Melli to Gangtok. The local Sightseeing will be in Maruti van as this is the norm of Gangtok - Gangtok local Sight Seeing will be as per the schedule of the guide - 7 to 8 points includes the following - Rumtek Monastery or Ranka Monastery one of the oldest and most beautiful monastery of India with Ban Jhagri Falls - Shanti View Point - Ban Jhagri Falls - Institute of Tibetology - Ganesh Tok - Cottage Industry - Flower Show - White hall - Tashi View Point - One can visit Rumtek Monastery with supplement cost ) - The visit to all these places are done with leisure and we advise our guest to follow - Evening one is free to stroll around - Over night stay at Gangtok.
Day 03: Excursion to Changu / Tsomgo Lake - Nathu La (Optional) -
Early morning breakfast - Permits are made one day prior to visit - This is nearly 48 kilometers drive and takes nearly 2 hours - Visit to Tsomgo / Changu Lake and Baba Mandir, cool, serene water and the picturesque beauty - Tsomgo lake is one of the holy lake of the region - A temple of Lord Shiva is built on the lakeside - Primula flowers and other alpine plantation provide an immaculate beauty to this place - Till April it is full of snow and lay frozen - (Nathu La Pass visit has to be arranged the previous Night when Voters ID card will be asked for - Nathu La Pass once booked the amount is not refunded even if the trip get cancelled - Nathula Pass supplement of INR 2500 - INR 4000 /- has to be paid on the spot as it is not included in the final costing) - Back to hotel for lunch or lunch on the way - The rest of the day is free - Evening one is free to stroll around M G Road or the Local Market - Over night stay at Gangtok.
Day 04: Kalimpong Local Sightseeing -
Early morning breakfast and start the day for sightseeing, it takes 02 minutes drive from Gangtok - Kalimpong weather is milder and pleasant for most part of the year - Kalimpong offers monasteries, temples, tourist complexes, heritage buildings, parks, flower nurseries, heritage schools, charitable institutes - Start with Zang Dhok Palri or Durpin Monastery - Army Golf Course - Nursery - Deollo - Hanuman Tok - Dr Grahams Home (school with high standard of education) etc - One can spend 02 - 03 hours in Kalimpong and enjoy the lunch at any of the restaurant like Orchid, etc and back to hotel - Heritage buildings are Gouripur House and Morgan House, etc . Back to Melli. Overnight stay at Melli.
Day 05: Melli to Namchi via Tarey Bhir -
Early morning breakfast and start a day for sightseeing - On the way to Namchi en-route TAREY BHIR, is an amazing point of attraction for people who adore natural thrill. It is situated on a beautiful locale near a rural hamlet called Sadam, which is about 15.1 km, 45 mins km away from Melli. After that we proceed towards Namchi, Siddhesvara Dhaam is a unique pilgrimage tourism venture of the Sikkim Government developed as Pilgrim cum Cultural Centre having a 87 feet statue of Lord Shiva and replicas of four Dhaams of the country at one place at Solophok hilltop in Namchi - The four most revered Dhams of the Hindus Jagannath, Dwarika, Rameshawaram, Badrinath have been replicated in this fantastic complex to benefit the devotees and tourists. The world's largest statue at 118 feet of the Buddhist Padmasambhava, also known as Guru Rinpoche, the patron saint of Sikkim, is on the Samdruptse hill or The Wish Fulfilling well opposite Namchi. Day 06: Departure to Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) -
Early morning breakfast - Drive to Siliguri, on the way to Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) -
It is approximately 65 kilometers and 1.5 to 2.5 hours drive - The road will be bit busy and jam is frequent - The drive will be along the River Teesta. One stop at Coronation bridge if time permits - One will travel through the area of natural beauty. Drive to Bagdogra Airport (IXB) / New Jalpaiguri Railway Station (NJP) /Siliguri - Guest are advised to start early and not to rush - Forwarding Journey.
