Detailed Itinerary - 8 Nights / 9 Days Tour

Meet your driver for the entire tour on arrival at Guwahati Railway station or Airport . we will visit the hotel first, check-in and after getting freshup, we will go for a mini tour of Guwahati visiting Kamakhya which is one of the most important shakti temple , Balaji and Umanand Temple which is on a small island on the might river Brahmaputra ( plces to be covered will depend on the time we will have to spare). Overnight in Guwahati.

After breakfast, start your journey towards Bhalukpong enjoying the nature to its fullest on the way. Today you will be visiting one of Asia's largest gardens of orchids, you can also enjoy and spend time on the riverside of Kameng River that flows alongside. On Arrival at Bhalukpong, check-in , rest of the time free to explore on your own. Overnight at hotel.

After breakfast we will start our journey towards Dirang where you can enjoy the beauty of the Mompa valley . you will be visiting Bomdila Monastery in Bomdila inaugurated in 1965, is considered as the exact replica of Tsona Gontse Monastery. On Reaching at Dirang, check-in to the hotel. In the evening you can visit the local attraction of Dirang, the hot water spring, regional sheep farm, Sangti and Yak Research Center. Overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast we will start our journey towards Tawang, the most famous destination if Arunachal Pradesh. ON our way to Tawang, we will cross Sela pass which is at the height of 13703 ft. you will be visiting the paradise lake where you can spend sometime relaxing and enjoying the beauty of the place. We will continue our drive towards Tawang. Upon arrival, check into a hotel. In the evening we will visit the Craft Center and traditional Monpa Village. Overnight at hotel.

Today we will spend our day exploring the beauty of Tawang. We will be visiting the famous Tawang Monastery, founded by Mera Lama Lodre Gyaltso during 17th century A.D. Presently accommodating over 500 monks. Later, we will go on a short trek to Bramdungchung Ani Gomap, the oldest Ani Gompa in Tawang. In the evening we will be visiting Urgelling Monastery, which is situated around 5 km to the south of town. the birth place Tsangyang Gyatso, the sixth Dalai Lama. Overnight stay at the hotel in Tawang.

After breakfast, we will continue our tawang sightseeing, today we will cover the Madhuri Lake famous for featuring in the Hindi movie Koyla, the Unni-Gompa (Women Monastery) and then drive to Pankang Teng Tso (P.T. Tso Lake) close to the Chinese border( Today tour will be done using locallly hired vehicle as outside vehicle are not allowed. Return in the evening and rest at the hotel. Overnight at hotel in Tawang

After breakfast we will start our return journey with towards Bomdila. En-route visiting 1962 Indo-China War Memorial, which is dedicated to Rifleman Jaswant Singh Rawat, of the 4th Battalion of Garhwal Rifles Infantry Regiment. who hold chinese aggression for 72 hours all alone. Singh remained at his post at an altitude of about 10,000 feet before succumbing to an enemy bullet during that bloody winter war. We will continue our journey towards Bomdila. On the way you can enjoy the beauty of snow-clad Kangto (7090 mt), Nyegi Kangsang (7050 mt), Gorichen (6488 mt) peaks. Upon arrival at Bomdila, check-in to the hotel. Evening at leisure, overnight stay at the hotel.

After breakfast we will drive towards Tezpur, on the way visiting another Orchid Center at Tipi which houses over 7500 orchids. Upon arrival at Tezpur, check-in to the hotel. After getting refresh we will go for a local sightseeing of Tezpur as the name suggest, " the City of Blood" is one of the ancient city of Assam have its reference in Mahabharat. Overnight in Hotel in Tezpur

After breakfast we will leave for Guwahati for our onward journey with a happy memory of the beauty of North East India. Upon arrival we will transfer you to the airport/railway station.
