Day 1: Night halt at Triveni Camp and Tent

The day starts around 3:00PM onwards welcomed with tea/coffee. Bonfire with chicken BBq at late evening. Dinner (Veg/Non-Veg) at night with tent blanket and pillow.

Day 2: Check out from Camp

Lovers Meet View Point

Lovers meet view point is 10 minutes updriver arund 3Km from Triveni camp. The view of the river Great Rangeet meeting Teesta is an awesome treat for the nature lovers. And any such reward doesn’t come easy. You will need to travel a bit from Darjeeling to experience this confluence. The river Rangeet with its deep green and crystal clear water gushes in and meets the forceful mountain stream Teesta at a point called Triveni. The confluence takes place at a relatively flat terrain, and is surrounded by mountains in all sides. The long valley at the base of the mountains is spectacular.

Lamahatta – Eco Park

Located at an altitude of 1700 meter above sea level and around 15km (35 min) from Triveni Camp, this tourist spot is gaining momentum by leaps and bounds. Surrounded by greenery and rivers amidst picturesque terraced farmland, Lamahatta is a small mountain village that now boasts of an upcoming eco tourism destination.It has been developed as a honeymoon destination and is a paradise for honeymooners as it offers solitude, picturesque beauty and a feeling of being amidst nature, a perfect platform to get to know each other. Lamahatta is very well connected to Darjeeling- Kalimpong state highway. Bara Mangwa & Chota Mangwa village

Bara Mangwa village is gaining fame as a calm tourist destination along with Chota Mangwa and Tinchuley. It is around 5Km and 15 minutes drive from Triveni campsite. A mountain slope, famous for the Orange Orchard, Bara Mangwais settled atop Darjeeling Hills towards the western side of the Kalimpong hills in the Teesta Valley, with magnificent view of the convergence of Teesta and Rangeet Rivers on one side and with Kalimpong Hills on the other side is Bara Mangwa. At a driving distance of about 30 minutes from Bara Mangwa is Chota Mangwa, an eco-tourism village, where the farmers mainly practice organic farming  in terrace cultivation. Oranges are mainly cultivated here, covering the entire village with an orange hue during the blooming season from October to February. Besides oranges, lemons are also cultivated in Chota Mangwa.

Takdah

Takda is located at an altitude of about 4,000 ft and around 22KM (1 hour) from Triveni, yet far enough to be isolated, quiet and serene. Although the altitude is much lower than Darjeeling town, the place is cooler compared to its surrounding area. The main tea estates in Takdah are Rungli Rungliot, Gielle, Namring, Jinglam, Poomong, and Teesta Valley estate. You can also visit the estate factories and watch the tea processing (in winters the factories usually remain closed). has a great Orchid Center spread across vast stretch of area.

How to reach Triveni Camping?

Triveni camping is located at Tista in a confluence of river Teesta and Rangit. It is 55KM from Siliguri or New Jalpaiguri or Bagdogra airport an it takes 1.5 hours to reach the campsite. From Gangtok, Sikkim it takes 2 hours and is 50Km towards Siliguri. It is located near Melli at Sikkim and Teesta Bazar at West Bengal.

What is the cost of Triveni Camping?
